We are excited about offering again, PHYSICAL SURVEILLANCE, this much
requested training September 7-11, 2020 through Central Piedmont Community College in Huntersville, North Carolina.

This 45-hour course is tuition-free to North Carolina law enforcement agencies and only $142.00 tuition for out of state law enforcement agencies.

This training will provide the participant with the knowledge of proper planning methods and techniques for conducting a successful foot, vehicle and stationary surveillance operation in an urban setting. Participants will receive instruction on: Operational Planning, Concealment Techniques, Prior Intelligence of Target Assessment, Safety Issues, Infiltration and Exfiltration Techniques, Equipment Needs, Personnel and Surveillance Strategies. This is a hands-on training exercise conducted under arduous
conditions. Participants should possess a working knowledge of video equipment and be prepared to use it during training.

This course is 90% fieldwork. You will need a covert or unmarked vehicle and one video camera for every three (3) people. Please do not intend on using marked vehicles in this class.

Out of state Agencies must make payment arrangements with Central Piedmont Community College. Agencies must provide hotel, lodging, meals, and transportation. Participates will receive continuing education college credits from Central Piedmont Community College

There is night work in this class.

ALL STUDENTS MUST COMPLETE A Central Piedmont Community College LAW ENFORCEMENT REGISTRATION FORM PRIOR TO THE FIRST DAY OF ANY CLASS OFFERED.
