FUGITIVE MANHUNT TRAINING

April 19-23, 2021

We are excited about offering this much requested FUGITIVE MANHUNT
training April 19-23, 2021 through Pamlico Community College, Grantsboro,
North Carolina. This course is tuition free to North Carolina law enforcement agencies.
This course is designed for law enforcement officers and K-9 Units to learn and evaluate tracking techniques which will lead to the apprehension of armed and dangerous fugitives.  An arduous and taxing course which teaches: Land Navigation, Man Tracking Techniques, Dog Team Formations, Tactical/Cover Team Movement, Cover/Concealment and Camouflage, Line and Road March Formations, Officer Safety Issues, Identifying and Crossing Danger Areas, Team Hand-Offs, Rally Points, Nonverbal Communications, Proper Law Enforcement Identification in a Tactical Environment.  This is a mentally and physically stressful course.  

This course is 90% field work and be prepared to work past 5 p.m!!

Needed Equipment:
Portable communications, tactical clothing, Tactical gear, Camel Paks or other hydration equipment, BFA for M4 style weapons (we will have some), Warm weather clothing, BE PREPARED TO GET COLD AND WET!!, bring thermos for hot beverages and snacks for fuel.  We work in a wooded environment most of the class.

ABSOLUTELY NO LIVE AMMO ALLOWED IN THIS CLASS…WE
WILL CONDUCT SAFETY CHECKS!

There is late evening work in this class.
