This 36 hour course is tuition-free to North Carolina law enforcement agencies.

Introduction to Undercover Operations This 3-day 36-hour course (12 hours per day) is designed for officers that are newly assigned or have a desire to work in an undercover capacity.

The basic portion of the course will build a solid foundation of important principles of working undercover, from initial planning to emergency procedures. The student will be exposed to undercover scenarios with the use of informants and “cold” assignments. The course will discuss and demonstrate undercover techniques and audio/video surveillance techniques with commonly used technology. Case planning and documentation will be discussed as well as common pitfalls experienced by undercover officers.
 
Out of state Agencies must make payment arrangements Central Piedmont
Community College. Agencies must provide hotel, lodging, meals, and transportation. Participants will receive continuing education college credits.

ALL STUDENTS MUST COMPLETE A CPCC LAW ENFORCEMENT REGISTRATION FORM PRIOR TO THE FIRST DAY OF ANY CLASS OFFERED.
